Long Term Health Benefits of Exercising   

 Exercise is good for us; we feel good and look better with physical activity. If you incorporate regular exercise as part of your daily routine, you could be dramatically improving your current and later life. Immediate benefits of exercise include increased flexibility, weight management and improved mental health. The long-term health benefits of consistent exercise improve bones muscles and joints, lower your risk of heart disease, and offer the body a natural antidepressant, keeping you healthier in later life.   

Exercise strengthens your bones, muscles, and joints. Bones get weak without activity as we age and lose bone mass and density.  Daily workouts increase stamina and strengthen the muscles that are an essential part of regular body movement, thus decreasing the effects of joint pain, stiffness, and arthritis.

Regular physical exercise is a natural antidepressant.  It supports good mental health and reduces symptoms of depressions.  The body releases a chemical called endorphins, a natural way to feel better.  Exercise continued over time releases proteins called neurotrophic, which cause nerve cells to grow and make new connections, in return the improved brain function makes you feel better.
